In Clinic Appointments Now Available (COVID-19)

Beginning May 1, 2020 we are expanding our appointments to include face-to-face visits. We will continue to follow federal, state and county guidelines by implementing safety protocols for all patients before and upon entry of clinic.

 Virtual Appointments:

We will continue to offer virtual appointments if you prefer to stay at home or are unable to leave your home. Please let our staff know at the time of scheduling your appointment.

What To Expect Before Your Clinic Appointment:

You may be asked a series of questions over the phone regarding COVID-19 screening prior to entering the clinic. Your temperature will be checked when you arrive at the clinic for your appointment.

Questions that may be asked are:

  • Do you have a fever?
  • Do you have chills or repeated shaking with chills?
  • Do you have a cough?
  • Do you have muscle pain, headache or sore throat?
  • Do you have a loss of taste or smell?

Preparing For Your Clinic Appointment:

  • All patients are required to wear a mask or facial covering
  • Only the patient is allowed inside the building unless they need assistance by a family member
  • All patients will be required to complete online registration before their appointment
We are limiting the number of patients during clinic, which means fewer patients at one time in the waiting room with seating separated for social distancing.

Process In Place For Our Medical Staff And Physicians:

  • All medical staff are screened daily upon entry into the clinic, including having their temperature taken
  • Our medical staff will be wearing face masks and personal protective equipment during your visit
All high traffic areas of the clinic are cleaned continuously following CDC guidelines for disinfection.

We are also opening our surgery centers to appropriately evaluate patients who need a colonoscopy or endoscopy. Each surgery center will follow similar safety measures and stay within federal, state and county guidelines.

Please call us today to schedule your appointment or ask any questions. Until then, stay safe and healthy.

The Importance Of Social Distancing

Medical providers are finding more people who show no symptoms while still testing positive for coronavirus, while others can be infected for a couple of weeks without showing symptoms. Social distancing comes with a recommended 6 ft. between yourself and others.

Social distancing has evolved as the pandemic has spread vastly around the world. Social distancing includes the cancellation of large events where crowds of people would usually gather. The current CDC guidelines go further and recommend staying at least 6 feet away from others who are not in the same household as you. Below are important guidelines  from the Center for Disease and President Donald Trump to help slow the spread of COVID-19:

  • AVOID DISCRETIONARY TRAVEL, shopping trips, and social visits.

  • DO NOT VISIT nursing homes or retirement or long-term care facilities unless to critical assistance.

  • AVOID SOCIAL GATHERINGS in groups of more than 10 people.

  • Avoid eating, drinking at bars, restaurants, and food courts- USE DRIVE-THRU, OR DELIVERY OPTIONS.

  • IF YOU WORK IN A CRITICAL INFRASTRUCTURE INDUSTRY, as defined by the Department of Homeland Security, such as healthcare services and pharmaceutical and food supply, you have a special responsibility to maintain normal work schedule. You and your employee’s should follow CDC guidance to protect your health at work.

  • Work or engage in schooling FROM HOME whenever possible.

Social distancing exercised during previous pandemics and epidemics, including the 1918 Spanish Flu epidemic in the United States, have proven that preventative measures in the early stages of an outbeak significantly decrease the spread of the disease. We can all help one person at a time by abiding by the CDC guidelines for social distancing.

Stay Safe.
